Simplicity at it’s best

It’s been a hectic start to the year, but in a good way. I’ve been loaded with college projects, filling and filing visa applications for my travel next month and few ventures I’m planning to start. Even now I’m writing my blog post during a break from my project work. I always liked being occupied with work as it keeps the unwanted thoughts away.

Now coming to my blog post, I have these phases where I get obsessed with one thing and wear it all the time, for example, crop tops last year and now its gowns. I’ve been in love with them and you’ll be seeing a lot of them on my blog soon.

When it comes to this one I got this beautiful black off shoulder gown from Cupcakes and closets, you’ll find not only amazing things there, but affordable as well.

I loved how this looked on me and felt. And I kept the styling very basic. I could have gone with a big statement neckpiece, earrcuffs and so on, but I wanted to show how so less can look so amazing and elegant. I tried to do something different with my hair for once as I’m always with open hair so I went with the messy side bun look and added a pair of gold heels and a clutch to complete it.

Hope you liked this look and to check out many more amazing looks check out cupcakes and closet on facebook ( and instagram (@cupcakesandcloset)

And the one lucky winner who got to win this amazing dress in blue is LOVEANDPUMPS (Instagram name). Please do mail me on to claim your prize and congatulations :)

P.S : I might not be posting a lot for a month, but please do be patient with me. Because I’ll have a lot more to share and a lot more time in my hand after feb.

Until then keep it simple :)
