My theory is, if you look confident you can pull off anything- even if you have no clue what you’re doing – Jessica Alba.
This quote was somewhere related to this post. Not that I didn’t know what I was doing, but because finding this location and walking with heels at this construction site with them was something I should be given an award for. Plus, pairing two bold colors was something I never thought I would do. Magenta and Maroon. If it wasn’t for my blog, I would have never paired up these two colors even though they are almost the same.
My blog has taught me so much in terms of fashion and colors. Every day I try to do something new and learn something. But the most important thing is to do it with confidence. I always say this “If you can carry it off with poise, you can even look good with a plastic bag on”. And I totally believe in this. It’s not about what you wear, but how you wear it.
When I put on my heels, I feel like a completely different person. A better and much more confident avatar of myself. And it’s not only because of the heels. I’ve changed over the year. I was always a shy and timid person and my fashion is what got me to be who I am today. So this is one thing you should remember. Fashion is not just a way to style yourself and look good it is also a way to make you a stronger and more confident version of yourself.
Now leaving the serious talk and coming to my look. If you guys dint know this, I love my jumpsuits. I always have two or three with me. They are so comfortable and easy. This one on the other hand had everything I loved. Sheer, lace and the color. I loved how it made me look and gave me an illusion of being tall. I paired it up with a tassel kimono and a statement gold belt, which I use is most of my outfits as it makes the entire look stand out. With that I went with heels and mixed two to three shades of lipstick to get this particular shade. And added a bit more gold with this amazing neckpiece. All in all I loved styling, this look and is definitely one of my favorites.
Styling Tip: Like I said confidence is the key to everything, but if you always had an issue because of your height like me. Go for jumpsuits like these which are a bit longer and have a flare they will make you look tall even though you don’t opt for heels. Do try it.
