Monochrome has been a season favorite. But it’s been mine for a couple of seasons now. You can never go wrong with it. And there are only good things about it. 1. It looks amazing 2. You can add in as many colors as you like with it 3. You can wear it as it is 4. It looks amazing.
Yes, I know I repeated that and that’s because I meant it. These two colors (I know they are not colors, but to me they are) go so well together that we can just rely on it for any occasion. Be it a lunch date, a dinner or even for a wedding. This alluring combination will make you stand out.
Being simple is never wrong, but adding your own touch to it makes the simplicity more striking. And this is my favorite kind of styling, adding your own touch to something that is already perfect. Giving it a piece of yourself and making it better than perfection.
For my look I went a little overboard and decided to try a Bindi something I would never go for. And along with that going with my current favorite trend obsession that is the bohemian style.
Just yesterday I took 3 hours to shop bohemian jewellery online and I don’t feel guilty about spending that many hours on it.
I wore this maxi for a pooja I had at home. But can even be worn on a nice Sunday afternoon for a brunch with your girls.
I added this neckpiece I bought from lifestyle. It had a nice pop of pink which added some color to the look and along with that I went with some oxidized bangles. And of course, the bindi.
This was something new for me and I’m glad people liked it. You guys should try this too.
Styling tip: If you get a maxi like this that gives you an Indo western feel you can always style it in the way I styled it or add in some gold jewelry something more contemporary to give it a nice night look. I tried it too and it looked amazing.
