Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy.
Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude;
It is not self-seeking, nor easily angered.
It keeps no record of wrongdoing.
It does not delight in evil,
But rejoices in the truth.
It always protects trusts, hopes, and preserves.
There is nothing love cannot face;
There is no limit to its faith, hope, and endurance.
In a word, there are three things that last forever:
Faith, hope, and love;
But the greatest of them all is love.
— “A walk to remember”- Nicholas Sparks
Everybody has a different definition of love, it comes in different forms and everybody has a different experience with it. For me love is not about going over the top, having fancy dinners and spending money on expensive gifts. Love to me is caring for each other, cuddling on a Sunday afternoon watching movies, understanding your partner during the most difficult times and just being crazy with each other. Not like I don’t fancy the grand gestures or the amazing dinner dates, but for me that’s not what love is all about. Love is not about making that one day of your life special, but about how you can make your own valentine’s day and remember it for the rest of your life.
Now coming to the look, even though it’s not red, this outfit makes a good valentines date look. The gold skirt is the hero of the look and stands out in the most amazing way. I added a black crop top with basic stilettos so that the attention falls on the skirt. I personally love working with pencil skirts, love how they hug your body and define your curves. That’s my favorite kind.
Add it a bit of color to the look or keep it basic, it will still do the trick. Pastel colored tops can even be added to give it a day look.
