I’ve always been asked to do an Indian blog post, but never really did one. So this time I decided to go all out and come up with a wedding related Indian post, and what better time to do it than the wedding season itself.
Since the wedding season is just around the corner I decided to show you how I would dress up for a close relatives/friend’s wedding . This season is all about subtle colors and pastels, but gold is something that never goes out of fashion especially during weddings . I’m not too fond of anything too bling, but this lehenga has just the right amount of it.
I paired up my lehenga with a headpiece and a gold ring and I was good to go. I didn’t go overboard with it by adding earrings and a neckpiece since it might look to over the top.
Styling Tip: The trick is to balance the jewellery out properly you do not want to compete with the bride. If you do go for a head piece like I did then make sure you keep the rest of it simple.
p.s: A big shoutout to my makeup artist who did an amazing job, follow her on instagram @thepurpleparrot
